Les nominations viennent de tomber. Cette année 10 films concourent pour la récompense suprême. Sans surprise Avatar arrive en tête avec 9 nominations, ex-æquo avec Démineurs. Meryl Streep est encore une fois nommée, pour la 16è fois ! Côté français, pas de Marion Cotillard pour Nine mais Un prophète fait bien parti de la liste pour le meilleur film étranger mais face au Ruban blanc ça va être dur. Les costumes de Catherine Leterrier pour Coco avant Chanel sont là, tout comme Alexandre Desplat (la musique de Fantastic Mr Fox), la chanson de Paris 36 (Faubourg 36 !) et le court métrage French roast. Sur les 10 nominations du meilleur film la bonne surprise de District 9 (4 en tout). Résultats le 7 mars.
